Jeff Lem BBA, MBA, P.MM
Jeff founded Portable Intelligence in 2015 with the goal of turning customers’ warehouses and supply chains into competitive advantages. After 20 years of running qdata, a company that he co-founded and grew into a nationwide leader in barcoding technology, Jeff exited that business and took with him the software group. With over a hundred WMS implementations to his credit, Jeff is the company visionary and sets the direction for Pi’s award winning products.
Abdul Ghaffar MSc
An experienced and dedicated developer who has proven his resourcefulness on countless occasions, Abdul accomplishes the objectives set out for him with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. He’s been working with RF Plus, Visual and other ERPs since 2008 and has been in the IT industry since 1998.
Mohan Mohendran B.Sc.Eng, PMP
Mohan started his software development career in 1992. For the last 20+ years, he’s been designing and implementing software used in manufacturing, warehousing and distribution sectors. Along with Windows, mobile and web-based technologies, Mohan has worked with various ERP systems such as Infor Visual, MS Dynamics NAV and SYSPRO.
Andy Chen B.A.Sc
Andy is a software architecht and one of the senior developers on the team with nearly a decade of experience in mobile, web and cloud technologies. He has a background in systems engineering and analysis with expertise in ERP integration and database systems.
Sunitha Gnana Sambanthan
Sunitha started her software testing career in 2012 after completing her under graduate program. To enhance her knowledge in IT, she completed the Project Management IT Diploma at SENECA College. She is a recent and welcome addition to the Pi team. She is a fast paced, quick learning person who proactively takes initiative to learn new things and takes on responsibilities to grow in her career along with the company’s growth.
Recent graduate of Sheridan College, Ming is a versatile Software Developer, with a focus on Web Development. He enjoys the balance of logic and creativity, perpetually learning the latest web frameworks, and takes pride in creating elegant UI/UX for modern applications. As for hobbies, he enjoys collecting keyboards, eSports, and watching movies.
John has been working with manufacturers and distributors for over 18 years. His many years of experience in helping manufacturers and distributors became more efficient through analyzing processes and utilizing software technology, including Visual ERP, which will be an asset to Portable Intelligence and their customers . John is looking forward to helping all the future PI customers.
Blair Gibson PMP
Blair's expertise in project management and information technology spans over 25 years. His innovation in a range of sectors including software development, manufacturing and electrical engineering has led to proven results in multi-national organizations. Leading the Operations team, Blair ensures that Pi’s mission of simplifying inventory control is accomplished with every customer deployment.
Bill Petrie BA, MBA
Parminder is an experienced user of Visual ERP and TM/RF Plus, having successfully deployed and used both products in previous roles. Accordingly, he has a strong background in IT and Visual, along with the detail-oriented mindset you would expect from a successful Project Manager. There isn’t a customer who doesn’t enjoy working with Parminder.
Bill has been involved in sales and marketing for over 30 years. His most recent sales experience was as a Vice President of a virtual reality hardware manufacturer. Bill has also been Vice President of Sales and marketing of a Content Management Software firm, increasing sales by 400% over five years. For the last 8 years, Bill has worked with numerous firms to create new opportunities for their sales staff. Bill has a BA from Queen's university and a Master of Business Administration from York University's Schulich School of Business.
Mary has been a valuable member of the Pi team (and formerly qdata) since 2002. Having been a part of the company from its inception, she has helped the company overcome challenges and made great contributions that have led to Pi’s success. Mary holds a degree from McGill and brings additional experience from having previously worked at a major Canadian bank. Outside the office, she enjoys sports like badminton, tennis and skiing.
